Ah, my intellectual crush…Alain De Botton introduces this series of essays designed to help us to understand ourselves and the world we live in. He argues that we have excellent education programs for all manner of professions and skills, but spend little time on learning the psychological and emotional skills needed to live a good life. And, we are suffering as a result.
Luckily for us, The School of Life has taken up the challenge and aims to improve our psychological and emotional education. They have books, videos, games, talks and conferences. Lots of resources to suit different styles of learning. The YouTube videos are great sources of inspiration. Check them out!
